The Story of the Famous Farter Scented Storybook with Exhilarating Story and Gorgeous Illustrations

About David Boyle

David has always been intrigued by the unusual things in life, in both his acting and illustrative work. Whether it has been playing the multifaceted chameleon actor Peter Sellers in the stage play “Being Sellers,” both in London and On Broadway, to playing the multitalented actor, singer songwriter and all round clever dick Anthony Newley. So far you probably think David just plays dead Jewish entertainers, well you’d be right, but on the horizon is the story of the bottom,burping, musically gifted derriere of Joseph Pujol. Le Petomane.

But lets go back to where it all started for David, aged 13 in the library in Walthamstow, where he stumbled upon a book. The book was about being an actor. The first line of the first paragraph read, “ninety nine per cent of all actors are unemployed,” where upon he closed the book and put it back on the shelf. He next went on to his second love, art, whereupon he was promptly told by teachers, “There is no future in being an artist.”
So not taking art at school, he failed all his other exams!
Well folks this did not deter the young Boyle. He decided to take his O’level art exam quickly followed by his A’level art exam, passing both with flying colours…ahem!
Yet again he was talked out of pursuing a career as a fine artist, and studied Graphics at college. Blimus what a waste of time for the young Boyle, not only did he not get on with the tutors, but was kicked off the course for painting bleach on the gum chewing head of the graphics course’s annoying waitcoat, who replied in anger, “You won’t get anywhere in life Boyle!!”

Well David did! Along the way he worked for advertising companies, to design companies, publishing companies and finally to working for The Walt Disney Company.
Now you may ask, what happened to the acting? Well hang on I’m getting to that. Disillusioned by the inability to be completely creative at the ‘Mouse Works factory’ he decided to kick start his love for acting, with a run at The Edinburgh Festival in a show about the life of Anthony Newley.
Afterwards the thought of working on Disney characters lost it’s appeal and David left Disney, creatively unshackled  to paint the way he had always wanted to paint and to become an actor.
Well so far Boyle has succeeded finally in doing what he always wanted to do. During this period of creativity David met and married is wife Natalie and got creative again and had two children, Maya 10 and Daniel 5.
They all share together the fun and laughter of life, and hoping for the incredible success of the gaseous explosion of “The Story of The Famous Farter.” Pffft!
