The Musician's Storyflower Synopsis

Written in 2021 in the form of a diary, this is the story of musician, Liza Mulholland, growing Sweet Peas for her beloved late mum and composing the 'Sweet Pea Suite' based on her experience. Growing a flower for someone else is at the heart of 'The Storyflower Project' which began during lockdown with a giant sunflower being grown for the children attending a family centre in Inverness. The main aim of 'The Musician's Storyflower' is to inspire children by revealing the range of emotions involved in such a project, how it takes root in the life and history of the grower and the creativity which emerges from this labour of love. For those interested in music and gardening, and those who take pleasure in doing something for someone else, this is a heart-warming story.
