One of our Books of the Year 2014 Small, square and always with a robust, hardback cover, Dick Bruna’s iconic picture books about the little white bunny called Miffy, have been treasured by millions of British households since they were first published in the UK in the early Sixties. Excitingly, for the first time in almost 50 years, the rhyming verse in each Miffy story in Bruna’s bestselling children’s storybooks has been refreshed for a modern British audience - by award-winning children's author and poet, Tony Mitton to suit the ears of today’s toddlers and pre-schoolers. Alongside the new texts, Dick Bruna’s illustrations – simple, bold and timeless – remain the same throughout.
Hip hip hooray! It's Miffy's birthday and her friends have all bought her lovely presents. Grandpa and Grandma Bunny give her a very special present. This highly desirable, collectible classic series has been updated for a new generation by award-winning poet, Tony Mitton.
