Dragonborn is amazing.
I love Alex she is so fierce and brave. It has an amazing storyline and is adventurous. It is an exciting book. It has this battle between Humans and Dragons. Skralla is this cool island were Alex goes to live. They have dragon combats called a rompuss. Alex tries to find a magical box called a Phylactery. That apparently has a whole army inside it. It is a lovely book. There are some dramatic moments. I love it, I have already recommended it to my teacher, and I would also recommend it to all my friends. It is really good.
I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down. I loved this heartfelt book about friendship and belonging. I would definitely recommend this book.
I really enjoyed this book and just couldn’t put it down. A girl called Alex discovers she’s a dragon, and is introduced to a realm full of these dangerous creatures. Struggling with her powers, will she be able to stop the evil, and will she ever belong? I would definitely recommend this book to all my friends and to anyone between the ages of 9-13.
Dragonborn is a unique book that’s full of magic, mystery and adventure. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book quite like it.
In Dragonborn, we meet Alex, a girl who has always been protected and watched over ferociously by her over protective mother since her father died. But Alex isn’t happy about this, and one day when things get too out-of-control, fire erupts from her mouth. Suddenly, her life is tipped upside down… Alex is a dragon. Soon afterwards, Alex is whisked away to a different world hidden away from ordinary humans, where dragons fly in the sky and children like her undergo brutal training on how to become one. However, not all dragons are good, an evil enemy is searching for an item of power and he will let nothing get in his way. It’s up to Alex and her friends to stop him before it’s too late. But will they make it in time?
Dragonborn is a unique book that’s full of magic, mystery and adventure. My favourite part was when Alex became a dragon and experienced being one for the first time. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book quite like it, however if you’re a fan of Skandar or Amari I would say you’ll enjoy this. I would suggest that this book is mainly for ages nine and over because of certain scenes. I also enjoyed the magic and thrill in the book too and would recommend to lovers of fantasy, mystery and friendship. Overall, a great book, I’m looking forward to Struan Murrays next!
Amazing, gripping and one of those “want to read more” books!
This novel is a gripping piece of writing unfurling with suspense and burning with mystery. The first few pages made me picture where Alex could be when she arrived in Skrlla. This book is filled with vocabulary enough to make me feel as if I'm there with Alex.
This book would appeal to many readers of all ages. It unravels with puzzling moments and it is punchy too. Amazing and brilliant. The story is the journey of a girl and how she discovers more about herself and what secrets are waiting to be told. As the story unfolds, she realises there's a lot more than her being a dragon.
