The Strange Disappearance of Imogen Good

I couldn't put it down! The story stayed with me for a long time.

I loved the book! It was my first “big book” and I was a bit worried that I might not cope, but when I started reading, I could not put it down! The story starts with two friends, Imogen and Bex, going into a mystery garden. Then we meet Fran. Fran has to stay with her aunt and uncle and their daughter Imogen in the countryside. Fran is not looking forward to it as she remembers that Imogen can be very bossy, so it probably won’t be fun to be around her.
But when Fran arrives, Imogen is not there and no one seem to even know that she ever existed!
I really liked Fran and with every page I wanted to find out as much as her what had happened to Imogen and if Fran will manage to find her and save her? I was at school, and all I could think about was when I could get back to the story
I liked how Fran changed her mind about Imogen and how Bex, Imogen’s best friend helped her in a search. I felt if they were real, I could be friends with them.
The story kept me in suspense almost until the last page. It was great!

This book was eye-opening and thought provoking in all the best ways possible.

This book was amazing. As I read more of it, it definitely got better. My favourite part is when Imogen comes back from the garden and her Mum and Dad remember her again, and Fran gets really confused about everything that is going on. My favourite character is Imogen. This is because she is so organised, neat and so like me in ways I can't explain, but her character is just so satisfying to me, especially with all of her sassy comebacks. However, I didn't like how much of a bad friend she was to Bex. In all I thought that this was a pretty incredible book, and I would definitely recommend to a friend.
