A Very Puggy Christmas

Paula the Pug is back and this time she is discovering Christmas

After finding a home in the sweet The Pug Who Didn't Belong, we return to Paula for her first Christmas in the mountains. In gentle, wonderfully flowing rhyming text we see how she discovers the twinkly lights and snow before being told about Santa and the gifts he bestows (the rhythm is contagious). Wandering out on Christmas Eve, the delicious smell of cookies proves too much temptation for Paula, thinking that maybe Santa may have left them for her. Though we all know not to feed dogs the chocolate chip cookies depicted, Paula happily works her way through the village before learning her mistake and having to fix it.

This is another fun and charming story with delightful illustrations of Paula the Pug throughout. A fun and festive if slightly mischievous picture book that would work well as a bedtime story during the festive season.

A delightful Christmas story

This is a delightful Christmas story featuring the endearing Paula the Pug. I loved both the story and the illustrations. An ideal pre-Christmas present for your little ones (and the grown ups will love it too)
