Boot Camp Synopsis

Jay, Summer, Dylan and their bands are headed for boot camp at uber-glamorous Rock War Manor. It's going to be six weeks of mates, music and non-stop partying as they prepare for stardom. But the rock-star life of music festivals and glitzy premieres isn't all it's cracked up to be. Can the bands hold it together long enough to make it through the last stage of the competition, or will there be meltdown?

Boot Camp Reader Reviews

Kids love to read and so in addition to our Lovereading4kids expert opinion above 15 year old Cesca Anderson was also lucky enough to read and review this title.  You can read her review below:

Boot Camp, the second in the breathtaking Rock War series, tells the story of 12 bands battling it out to get through to the 'Rock War - Battle Zone' stages. First though, the bands have to survive six tough weeks of 'Boot Camp', where they are in for a lot more than a few scheduled rehearsals. This book had me laughing out loud throughout and was a very welcome break from those with a more complex storyline. However, 'Boot Camp' was full of unexpected twists and turns and you could never quite anticipate what was going to happen next. A great beach book, I can't wait to read the next one!
