The first in a great new series for just fluent readers, this introduces Araminta Spook whose greatest ambition is to meet a ghost. And its being serialised on Radio 4 in November. Luckily she lives in a haunted house with her Uncle Drac and Aunt Tabitha so it shouldn’t be too difficult to spot one. But her Aunt is determined to sell the house and Araminta has to think of a way of stopping her. Well laid out with atmospheric illustrations, and broken into easily managed chapters.
Araminta Spook is just like any girl. She likes bats, ghosts, werewolves and vampires. One of Araminta's greatest ambitions is to see a ghost, and living in Spook House with her aunt and uncle there is a fair chance she will.
