A Piece of Passion from Editor Helen Carr :  I really enjoyed working on The Clubhouse Mystery, the first in the Cass and the Bubble Street Gang series. It’s always great to see a new series develop, as characters and settings are introduced, and in feisty Cass Okara, Erika McGann has created a really funny, lovable heroine with a distinctive voice.

Cass is confident and unsquashable, and along with her friends, Lex and Nicholas, determined to have adventures, solve mysteries and generally live life to the full. Another really enjoyable aspect of the series was watching Erika’s characters come to life on the page in Vince Reid’s witty illustrations.

I’m delighted with how the book came together and hope that Cass will find loads of fans when the book is released.
