Meet Molly Mischief, the brand new character created by Adam Hargreaves, of the Mr Men dynasty. Molly is certainly a mischief maker, on a trip to the zoo she gets up to all sorts, chasing parrots, tickling penguins, even feeding an ice-cream to the crocodile. It’s at the zoo that she decides she really needs a bigger pet and across a series of lively pages, we see her leading various animals home, hippo, giraffe and finally an elephant.
Children will love Molly’s cheek and irrepressibility - nothing is too ambitious for this little girl – and the fantasy element of the story will appeal. Lots to look at, laugh about and discuss – and Molly does sort of learn a lesson at the end. ~ Andrea Reece
