One of a series of unusual first concept books, this board book introduces children to colours using objects from the British Museum’s collection. Each one of the dozens of items featured is beautiful to look at, from the green porcelain bowl (China 18th century), to the gold Roman coin (AD 125) to Grayson Perry’s yellow Rosetta Vase (2011). They clearly have stories to tell too and more information is available by scanning a QR code featured at the back of the book.
