What a wonderful story! Robin finds solace in the tale of a cat called Red. We follow Red through his adventures to find a home, and what scary adventures they are. It is beautifully written and with perfect drawings and sketches. Well recommended - a joy to read.

It's a lovely story which is easy to read and keeps the reader's attention. On another level, it addresses a number of issues which I'm sure concern many children. I'd certainly recommend this book.

The writing is good and probably about right for the age range.... Read Full Review
Eight-year-old Robin doesn't like cats. When a strange cat turns up at his house, he ignores it. At first. "But this was no ordinary cat. Setting aside the unusual colour of his fur and the piercing quality of his eyes, he had a third most extraordinary feature, and that was his purr."
