But the underlying message is that we all need acceptance, that families are different – and Bill is now older sister Lucy.

What a joyful, funny book about identity, acceptance, love and loyalty. Usefully, at the end, there is a brief paragraph about the Mermaids charity – who support families with transgender, non-binary or gender-diverse kids, plus helping the kids themselves.
A book that should be in lots of schools and classrooms to promote acceptance and love.
