More great reads: the best books for 11 year olds
Think Alice in Wonderland and then think again for this is a rich and original re-imagining of Alice, a revolutionary novel that is full of fantastic battle scenes, plot twists and page-turning action. This is the brilliantly imaginative finale in The Looking Glass trilogy, which began with The Looking Glass Wars and continued in Seeing Redd. Whether you’re a fantasy reader or not or a fan of Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland or not, you really should grab this trilogy by the neck. You’ll be swept through it, tossed around and even feel your blood run cold at times and the magic of it will stay with you long after you’ve finished it. Perhaps even Lewis Carroll would have been impressed?
Behind a pack of cards are a pack of lies! Unlike the comforting fairytale created by Lewis Carroll, the true story of Wonderland involves bloodshed, murder, revenge and war. The battle for Wonderland has come to a head and the Heart Crystal's power has been depleted thanks to King Arch's devastating weapon, WILMA.
