LoveReading View on Angel Fire

If you're still into paranormal fiction or if you think you've had enough of it then think again.  L A Weatherly's Angel sequence is a completely addictive and stunning story of loyalty, conflict and love.  Original and fast-paced with characters you really warm to.

The Trilogy consists of Angel, Angel Fire and ends with Angel Fever.

But don't take our word for it. Here is a review by avid reader and lovereading member Safiyah Afghan:

'Willow is a half-angel and only she has the power to defeat the deadly angels. But she is alone, she is the only half-angel in existence; or so she believes. Willow and Alex know what they must do, train more Angel Killers to help stop the angel invasion. But Willow is alone and isolated by the suspicious and untrusting Angel Killers. Then she has a dream, about a boy who isn't Alex, a boy she can't live without. And then the real test of love, loyalty and survival begins for Willow. Angel Fire is a gripping and thrilling book that readers will not be able to put down. Full of love, adventure, friendship, survival, conflict and loyalty, this novel is a wonderful blend of high impact and high charged emotions. Weatherly excellently combines these raw, powerful emotions to create a fast-paced, emotional and thrilling novel that readers will fall in love with instantly. Told from the perspective of different characters Angel Fire takes readers on an emotional roller coaster and creates an unforgettable impression. The characters are well developed and well expressed and readers will experience their emotions as if they were their own. An excellent plot keeps readers on edge and wanting more. Full of sorrow and anguish, hope and love and loyalty and conflict Angel Fire is the perfect blend of excitement and anticipation. Perfect for all readers Angel Fire covers adventure, romance, adrenaline pumping scenes and slower more emotional moments. The intertwining of slower, deeper moments were the readers gets to know and love the characters and the faster paced more thrilling scenes, really help to engage the reader and make Angel Fire an excellent book for all types of readers. A work of art Angel Fire is unmissable and emotionally charged, perfect for readers looking for a deep, thrilling read.'

L.A. Weatherly on writing Angel:

I've known Alex for a long time. He first came to me as a character almost twenty years ago, when he was a thief in a fantasy setting – an expert with knives rather than guns. Nothing came of that particular novel, but Alex always stayed with me. He refused to go away, in fact! And over the years, I began to wonder about redoing his story completely, and placing him in a contemporary setting.
