This is just a small review of the book, I just wanted to say it is a very entertaining, fun and adventurous book, very creative and exciting. I would really recommend reading this book to a kid or to your students! At night, just read about one chapter and then you're off to bed. As soon as you lay your eyes onto the book, you feel like you just can't take your eyes off it no longer. I rate it 5/5 stars and for children from 7 - 12, this would be a perfect book for your age, even adults would enjoy it very much- and I know you will, when you read the book.
I really enjoy the book and that for a 7 - 12 year old, it would be really interesting. An adventure book, surviving in the forest alone with a wolf cub, then afterwards meeting the Raven Claws (A clan). Very entertaining, and I am just about to buy the whole book. I would really recommend reading this book and it is 5 stars for sure! It is very adventurous and that it works really well with kids around 9 years old. If you are a teacher trying to find a book for your students or maybe just a parent you wants to read a night time story then this book is really what you need, every night, read at least one chapter for your kids before bed!... Thousands of years ago the land is one dark forest. Its people are hunter-gatherers. They know every tree and herb and they know how to survive in a time of enchantment and powerful magic. Until an ambitious and malevolent force conjures a demon: a demon so evil that it can be contained only in the body of a ferocious bear that will slay everything it sees, a demon determined to destroy the world.
Only one boy can stop it - 12 year old Torak, who has seen his father murdered by the bear. With his dying breath, Torak's father tells his son of the burden that is his. He must lead the bear to the mountain of the World Spirit and beg that spirit's help to overcome it.
Torak is an unwilling hero. He is scared and trusts no one. His only companion is a wolf cub only three moons old, whom he seems to understand better than any human.
Theirs is a terrifying quest in a world of wolves, tree spirits and Hidden People, a world in which trusting a friend means risking your life.
