This new series, a comic but very cleverly plotted crime caper, is certain to win her even more fans.

Reggie Rabbit dreams of being a detective like his hero Detective Fox of Bearburgh city. His classmates at school make fun of his ambitions, and his family aren’t that supportive – except perhaps for wise old Granny Lavender – but a new friend Pipsquark the parakeet, is keen to become his partner, and just might have been witness to the huge carrot heist that’s threatening Reggie’s dad’s vegetable stall.

Told in a mix of text and cartoon strip (illustrations courtesy of Becka Moor), filled with visual jokes, comic situations, and wordplay, and with definite Gotham City vibes, this is bound to hit the spot with young readers. Another treat is crime family the Masques who, despite being guilty as charged, manage to avoid the long arm of Detective Fox and will definitely cause more trouble in Bearburgh. Reggie and Pipsquark will have their work cut out!
