Age 3+. Former Children’s Laureate Michael Rosen’s wonderfully touching and witty poems take readers through many familiar family moments such as Dad loosing his glasses in 'Where are his Glasses?' as well as some wildly inventive experiences as in 'A Dangerous Raisin'. Interspersing the poems Rosen adds different versions of his classic 'Down Behind the Dustbin' as a refrain adding many witty variations. There are also some excellent Michael Rosen remixes of classic nursery rhymes.
Following the publication of bestselling Mustard, Custard, Grumble Belly and Gravy, Michael Rosen has followed up with a brilliant new book of poems that are funny, thought-provoking and always with Michael's immediately accessible and child-centred voice. The poems included are a mix of classic favourites and also many brand new poems. The cheeky, full-colour illustrations by much loved Babette Cole make the perfect partnership.
