A delightful picture story book in which a rainbow causes untold damage to the rainforest because of his greed for colour, but eventually the animals of the forest persuade him to mend his ways, but perhaps not exactly as was planned. The pleasure of sharing, so important to instill in a young child, is brilliantly portrayed in this story both through the words and the pictures.
When Monkey finds a tiny rainbow hooked onto the tallest branch of the tallest tree, all he can think about is showing his rainforest friends. But what Monkey doesn't realise is that everything the rainbow touches, loses its colour! The rainforest looks dull and grey, and makes all of the animals feel very sad.
