Grandma Bendy features in the top-rating CITV show, Bookaboo, on Saturday at 7.25am 6th July 2013 on CITV & ITV1 and repeated on the 7th July. The guest reader of Grandma Bendy is Canadian actress, Tara Spencer-Nairn. Bookaboo’s message about the importance of sharing the reading experience has proved popular with both children and adults. Last year, Bookaboo won the British Animation Award for Best Mixed Media series, which follows previous awards including two BAFTAs, a Broadcast Award and the 2010 Prix Jeunesse. Thanks to the generosity of contributing publishers, 1000 books are donated every episode to disadvantaged children.
