Jane Foster runs Jane Foster Designs – her prints, cushions, mugs and soft toys, with their gorgeous retro 1970s’ designs, are easy to spot and super stylish. There are fifteen different projects to make with or for children in this very attractive little book, from simple pictures made from old picture dominoes (which look fantastic), to cushion covers and even her very popular felt toys. The instructions are clearly laid out and easy to follow, and there’s lots of tips too both on how to make things, and how to source materials. Making and doing with your children is a really lovely way to spend time, and this book is full of inspiration. ~ Andrea Reece
