This series puts a stylish, modern spin on the Nancy Drew format. Teen model Axelle Anderson is a fan of Ms Drew and indeed Miss Marple, in fact she’s been obsessed with the idea of being a detective since she was old enough to play Cluedo. Fortunately, travelling to fashion hotspots with her modelling work gives her lots of opportunities for sleuthing. In this latest adventure she’s asked to investigate an attack on a young photographer – someone is willing to do anything to get hold of his pictures, but why?
The world of fashion makes for a cool backdrop and feels very authentic (the author used to be a model) A satisfying mystery story and Axelle – smart, brave and resourceful – is the perfect under-age detective. ~ Andrea Reece
When a new case lands on Axelle Anderson's London doorstep, the stylish sleuth can't resist strapping on the heels and snapping on the shades to track down whoever attacked fashion photographer Gavin.
