Biologist and pet expert Dr John Bradshaw gives us a cat’s eye view of the world, showing exactly what it looks like if you’re a feline. We spend a day (and night) with Libby, a four-year-old, black and white cat, and we learn lots, including how cats’ eyes, ears and noses work, what their purring means, the best ways to teach them to use a litter tray or cat flap, and how they make friends.

With a chapter too on the best way to stroke a cat and how they use their meows to get you to do what they want, it’s guaranteed to make life with your cat better and even more interesting. The text is as friendly as it is informative, and Clare Elsom’s black and white illustration of Libby make it even more appealing.
