Cherub No.8: Don’t think of these as an alternative to most of the other spy novels around for these are very different and truly original and well written as well. The British underworld is controlled by gangs. When two of them start a turf war, violence explodes on to the streets. The police need information fast, and they turn to the teenage agents at Cherub in an effort to infiltrate and dissipate the gangs. It’s not essential to read these thrillers in order as they are stand alone novels in their own right, however once you’ve read one you’ll want to read them all anyway.
