The story is wonderfully fun and interactive, with familiar characters in new situations. The playful interaction between text and illustration and the graphic novel-like framing on many of the pages is instantly appealing. My Year 1 class absolutely adored this book when I read it out loud, asked for repeated readings and many chose it to read independently, which is the ultimate seal of approval!

India chuckled all the way through this book. She loved spotting all the story characters and found the various Fee Fi Fum rhymes really funny. Dragons and Hide and Seek are two of India’s favourite things, so this book was perfect for her.... Read Full Review
A funny take on classic fairytales.
I loved it when they fell of the bean stork it was really funny. My favourite character was the gingerbread man because he had an idea and I love ideas. The pictures looked really cool and colours. The fee fi fo fum bits were really good too.
