"Twins bring double the trouble and double the fun"
September 2020 Book of the Month
Cally and Jimmy are twins but more different people it would be hard to meet. Cally is generally quiet and well-behaved, while Jimmy is anything but (his ADHD doesn’t help). It’s Cally who narrates the four separate stories contained in this very enjoyable new book, and she gives us a really good idea of what it’s like to live with the most-annoying-brother-in-the-whole-wide-world, describing the many times he gets them both into trouble, but she absolutely captures the fun they have together too. There’s a starring role for their wonderful grandma, or Yiayia as they know her (Mum is Greek) and just a lovely sense of this family. Recommended reading and hopefully there’ll be more adventures to come for the twins.

My favourite part is how the story really transports you into their world, it does a really good job of that and makes you want to read it over and over again.
This story is about boy and girl twins. The boy, Jimmy, has ADHD which means that his parents give him extra attention. His sister, Callie doesn't like it but she tries hard not to show it.
There are different sections to the story, including acting out something, making trouble and their birthday- turning 10! I really enjoyed having the 4 stories in 1 with the same characters.
I liked that they didn't live with their father but they had a Nanny who helped resolve the issues the twins have. I really liked how there are pictures on all the pages. The pictures really describe what is going on in the book.

Fun and interesting to read. In really liked it.
This was a very good book. There are four different stories about the twins Cally and Jimmy who are 10. My favourite story was Double Digits. This was all about their birthday and they wanted different parties. It was good because they learnt to do things together and separate. Their Nan kept saying funny things too which made me laugh.... A brilliant collection of stories to introduce you to some entertaining new characters. There's four stories in this book and they introduce you to Cally, her twin brother Jimmy and their family. There's humour throughout as Cally narrates each fun-filled adventure.
I think that young readers will be drawn into each storyline and find plenty to laugh out loud about.... Read Full Review
Four stories in one!
I have a twin brother. Everyone calls him Jimmy, which is sort of the English version of Dimitri, his actual Greek name. Our mum's Greek, you see. I'm Cally, short for Calista, which means, I don't want to sound big-headed or anything, 'most beautiful'. I'm not sure about Dimitri, but if Dimitri means most-annoying-brother-in-the-whole-wide-world, then that's him.
Join Cally and Jimmy in four hilarious stories, perfect for newly confident readers. They get into scrapes together, bake some poisonous cakes, almost ruin their school assembly and finally have a twintastic birthday party.
