"Harry Woodgate delivers a joyful follow up to his acclaimed picture book, Grandad's Camper, in this celebration of love and family"
June 2023 Book of the Month | A Julia Eccleshare Pick of the Month June 2023
Award winning Harry Woodgate has followed up Grandad’s Camper with a new story about Grandad and his loving family.
Grandad tells Milly all about his younger days when he and Gramps partied at the Pride marches together. He says he is now too old to travel to join the big Pride party celebrations so Milly decides to get Pride to come to him.
Making rainbow bunting and rainbow cakes and rainbow clothes, friends and neighbours in the village all contribute to making a great local Pride event just for Grandad. But, will he turn up if his beloved Gramps is missing?
The highly-anticipated sequel to Waterstones Prize-winning Grandad's Camper celebrates the power of community and the importance of LGBTQIA+ history.
