"A gentle, accessible introduction to yoga for children "
A child wakes up in a magical garden. Each page that follows introduces an animal, and the yoga position it represents. Short, rhythmic lines of text tell a story, but also explain how we can learn and grow through stretching and meditation. It’s very appealing, and children are sure to want to jump up and copy the yoga positions illustrated.
There are additional instructions at the back as well as a meditation prompt to inspire children further. As more parents see the benefits of yoga for children this is an attractive and useful story book.
