"Girl power comes out top at a school for knights"
All Bronte Tempestra has ever wanted is to be a knight. She dreams of dramatic rescues, of honour and chivalry. So when Sir Sebastian’s School for Squires suddenly announces its opening its doors to girls as well as boys, she’s first to enrol.
It’s a bit disappointing that there’s not quite the emphasis on heroic deeds she’d expected, but worse, something is clearly wrong in the Weather Kingdoms – the lightning steeds have gone missing, the thunder trolls are roaming wild and someone is mutating the animals in the forest, making them much meaner and positively dangerous.
When their headmaster refuses to do anything, it’s up to Bronte and her new friend Tonkins to save the days – just as well she’s properly courageous. Mixing school story with knightly quests and cute animals, this fantasy adventure will be much enjoyed by young readers and the good news is there are more adventures to come for Bronte.

Lord Errol and Tonkins were also hilarious because they were always complaining about each other, and they had no idea that they were actually very similar.... Read Full Review
