Whisper is the smallest, quietest dragon on the mountainside, but he’s one of the smartest when it comes to recognising the damage his family are causing to their home. His voice needs to be heard but his family are too big (and too busy setting fire to things) to pay attention.
Fortunately, Whisper has good friends and by joining their voices together and via a carefully timed use of art, he successfully gets his message across to the grown-ups. Whisper and his friends are an irresistible and gorgeously identifiable set of campaigners, and their mountainside home is very appealing too in Rose Robbins’ illustrations. A great book to share.

Rose Robbins is based in London. She is a young ambassador for Inclusive Minds, and has gained a reputation for creating upbeat books about disability. Rose's first book Me and My Sister was shortlisted for the Waterstone's Book Prize, and her second book Talking is not my Thing was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal, and selected as one of the International IBBY Books for Young People with Disability list 2021.
