Skandar and the Phantom Rider is a great book that people who love adventure, thrill, mystery, magic and a bucketful of edge-of-your-seat excitement will enjoy. If you’ve ever read Amari and the Night Brothers or Harry Potter (and have enjoyed them), this is a perfect book for you to read. I think that this book (and the whole series in fact) is unique. I have never read anything like them before. I really enjoyed the feel of anticipation of what was going to happen next, and the feeling of experiencing and going along with Skandar and his friends on their epic adventure too. Overall, a brilliant book- I’m looking forward to the next one!"

If you like stories that are exciting and full of heart, you HAVE to read this. Totally brilliant!
WOW!! Skandar and the Phantom Rider was sooooo good. It had mystery, danger, and some really spooky bits that made me want to read more.
Skandar is getting stronger and braver, but I love that he’s still kind and cares so much about his friends. Bobby, Flo, and Mitchell were all awesome too – their friendship is the best. I really liked how they worked together to figure out who the Phantom Rider was (no spoilers, but I was shocked!!).

Near the beginning of the book Skandar gets a saddle from Flo’s Dad. He meets the first rider which confused me a little bit, but it all makes sense when you read the story. The storyline is great, the book is amazing, and I loved it. I’d recommend it to all my friends.... Read Full Review
