Well 2020 was a lot of things but certainly on the books front, it didn't disappoint.
More than ever, publishers, authors and illustrators stepped up and produced some phenomenal books that delivered children much-needed escapism as well as reflecting some of the most important issues of our day with Covid-19 and Black Lives Matter.
The little bookworms in our life had even more time to read and they were joined by millions who rediscovered books during lockdown. We all took comfort in reading, and long may that continue.
